Hi everyone! I’m new to the Bee and I’m looking for some honest opinions on two dresses! The moms and bridesmaids say they love me in both, and I really love both too, so I just can’t decide! Keep in mind these dresses are not the right size! I’d have to size down in Option 1 and size up in Option 2.
We’re having a May 2020 barn wedding in Tennessee. Outdoor ceremony, indoor dinner, indoor/outdoor reception.
Thanks in advance!

Of the two, I prefer the first one. But I don’t “love” either of them.

I think I prefer dress two, but without the flower belt and short embellished veil. I think it would look better with a long chapel length veil and no detailing. The shape is gorgeous and the belt just adds fuss when it isn’t needed.

Option one is a ton more flattering in the bust and stomach areas. Dress two may look better when properly fitted, but I wouldn’t take the gamble on it. If you do go with option two, the belt doesn’t do anything for it.

ecally : Option #1 by a million.
It is much MUCH more flattering to your figure, and it’s a more unique style. The drop waist is more viaually interesting, and the pattern on the lace is gorgeous.
It’s romantic without being fussy, and it looks more comfortable. I also think it will feel more secure, wearing it. Like, those little droopy straps on the 2nd dress are going to BUG YOU after a day running around in them.
#1 also looks more… “barn” to me, in that I could imagine wearing cowboy boots with it, and #2, not so much.

I’ll be honest and say…keep looking? They’re fine but I think you could do better.

Option 2 for sure!! It makes you look so slim! But without the belt and that veil. I know option 1 isn’t your size, but I just don’t love that cut- it doesn’t do any favors for your amazing figure!

I also think you should keep looking.

You look good bee, but I think there’s a better option for you out there.

I think 1 fits your theme better. I do love #2 without the belt though!

ecally : I prefer dress 2 if I had to choose, but I don’t like the flower belt. Honestly though, I agree with PPs- you should keep looking.

I prefer the first one with its beautiful neckline. The droopy off the shoulder sleeves in the second one don’t seem to photograph well.

Option 2, but without that belt ( or any belt ) and with a plain veil . And if the sleeves could be either removed, or better , put up to normal strap place on shoulders and not drooping.
You could wear most things though , with your enviable figure !
