Help! I can’t decide on my bridesmaids’ dress color. The color palette of my wedding is: dark green, forest green, sage, blush pink, with accents of gold and marble.
I originally wanted blush pink bridesmaids dresses, but seeing that it’s so overdone, I had changed my mind to dark green bridesmaids dresses. However, after giving that some thought, I worry that 10-20 years later, the photographs of the dark green dresses may look too striking and look like an eyesore in photos – whereas blush pink may appear lighter and more neutral?
Here are 2 photos to give you an idea of the shade of green and blush pink I’m considering (these are NOT photos of me). Which color should I choose for my 3 bridesmaids??

Have you taken into consideration your bridesmaids skin tones? I think blush dresses are pretty but they personally blend in with my skin coloring. I’d ask your bridesmaids which they prefer. You could go with a lighter shade of green.

I think the dark green dresses would be pretty striking for a May wedding. Blush has the one up in that there are so many shades to choose from to suite everyone and it’s more of a neutral. Our girls are wearing dark green but our wedding is in November and the dresses will directly tie into our season and venue.

Just a thought here. Have you considered having each bridesmaid wear a different shade of green or pink/peach? That would give them more choices and maybe you could just control how dark the shade gets???

You could have half and half. Half blush half green. What is the setting of your wedding? Outdoors? Summer, winter?

The dark green dresses are refreshing to see. If you are concerned about them being too bold you could consider sage green as its one of your mentioned colors.

I really like the dark green.

Green looks good on most skin tones.

I would do green. Everyone and their brother has done blush. I feel like Blush is so widley used…I vote to be different and do green 🙂

I would go with a shade of green. I think the dark green looks nice! If you don’t think the green looks like and eyesore now, you won’t in 20 years either. Your kids will always find someone cliche and gross about the fashions of 20 years prior, whether you have green dresses or not, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

I vote for green! There are many shades of green that are just so pretty!

What about a pretty sagey floral bridesmaids dress like this?
Found these on google–don’t know who they are 🙂

Another vote for sage! 🙂 I almost chose blush dresses but they just didn’t look right on the various skin tones of my bridesmaids. Dark green may be too bold for you if you’re hesitant now. Sage is soft and romantic like blush but not overly used! 🙂
