I like the solitaire, but I personally think halos are “trendy.” Both are beautiful, and I agree that it would be really great if he just decided and surprised you!

Solitaire! You can always add a halo later.. plus have a 2ct center diamond!

I really love halos, but in this setting I think the solitaire looks best. 👍🏼

You sound like you’d be happier with the halo 🙂 both are beautiful!

I personally love the soliataire. I agree with other posters saying give him the option to decide and just stress that there is no “wrong” decision. I had a similar experience when my fiance took me to look at rings. We narrowed it down to 2/3 and I would have been so happy with any of them but I am even happier that he chose the one he liked best!

Solitaire – not a fan of halos especially with an already large centre stone.

I have a halo but for this style I prefer the solitaire.

Be careful about the three-sided micropave – it will eat at your wedding ring. I would just do regular pave solitaire.

I’m going to vote halo. I like halos. It will be gorgeous and add more finger coverage

I love halos, I find them to be the better choice imo.

I live in Chicago woohoo! I have a cushion halo with a round brilliant center… I love it.

My vote is halo all the way!!!!

I will vote for halo because I don’t see that many princesses cut in halo setting. It is an unique and beautiful ring!

I don’t generally have a problem with halos but this one looks to be a weird shape? Rounded slightly? At least in the pic it just doesn’t look right to me, if I had a square diamond I would want a square Hali not an almost square halo. Plus I just really loved the look of this solitaire and how clean it is. When you’ve got a diamond like that, it’s the star. You don’t need to dress it up.

I am flashy too and I love my halo! My center stone is about 1.75 ct but everything else is micro pave and it doesnt look fake

It is not the best picture but the one I had in hand, my sozw finger is around 4.75-5 for reference
