They look fine to me. It’s hard to see the color though, looks like the walls are peach and mint green.

They look fine to me but I think it depends on your wedding colors, will they go with everything(table overlays/tablecloths all other decorations)?

My venue has hideous bright red chairs that I am covering with chair covers because all of my decorations are pink and purple

I think the chairs are the last thing you have to worry about in that room. The floors seem fine too, but I think you should use that money to find someway to dress up those walls a bit.

    ps I hope I don’t sound rude

I love the chairs! Sorry but I really do. Instead of unscrewing the lightbulbs could you replace them with a different color? It will give the look of uplighting sorta. There was a post a while back where that was done. I wouldn’t bother covering those chairs. You could always go try different color lightbulbs and see what you think.

    Hmm, yea, maybe candlelight?

Could you push narrow tables up against the walls and put tableclothes on them to at least cover the contrast?

I’m totally sympathetic to not having a gorgeous room. Our reception room had those industrial rectangle foam/metal frame ceilings as well. You gotta work with what you’ve got sometimes.

Make the food, centerpieces, and music amazing and nobody will be looking at the walls.

If it’s in the budget I say go for the Chivari chairs.  We spent something like $1,200 on them and I think they were worth every penny.  I looooooved them.

They’re not that bad, I think they’re nice.

What about a tulle/fabric band around the back of every seat that’s tied in the back? That would be cheaper than chair covers and still look nice.

I do like the look of those chair covers though… but I think it’s just a better picture than the one you originally showed us.
