DEFINITELY both! 🙂 Honestly, I think a variety of centerpieces looks much better than having all of the same. Especially if you do some high and some low like the pictures you posted.

I prefer the candles and the petals. (I’m personally not a huge pomander fan) 

but my bias aside, I do think it’s striking when the centerpeices are high/low. 

SO… I vote for both. 🙂

You can definitely do both but I think the 2nd picture looks so fresh, I love it. If you do only 1 centerpiece idea my vote is for the 2nd picture.

I think both would be cool, but if you go with just one, the bottom one is AWESOME.

I think 100 would be good, but you should probably test it out first to make sure.  You can get a bag of 300 fake rose petals from Dollar Tree for $1.  I would buy one of those to experiment with.
