Which one do you ladies like? Forgive the horrible photoshop job!
First up: David’s Bridal sash in Toffee:
Etsy Seller – The beaded on this would go almost all the way around the front, so I would just have a ribbon bow or I would even have it sawn into the dress in an ivory color or a similiar color to the dress if she has it.
This would come from Isreal and isn’t returnable, so I’m a little freaked out that I might get it and hate and then be stuck with it. Whereas, with the DB sash, I can go to a store and try it on with my dress to see if I like it, without having to buy it.
If you don’t like either of these, that’s cool…I’m open to suggestions!

Do the sashes go with your wedding colors?

I really like the Etsy one! It adds more glitz and makes your dress look more bridal to me.

Honestly I don’t like either.
The second one is a bit better, but I think it’s too thick for your frame.
If you combine elements of both of them it would be better. A thinner belt with a central point and all beading.

@MapleMoose: Sort of, but my shoes are brown patent, even though you won’t really see them.

@kala_way: The etsy sash is only two inches, the photo shop job isn’t as proportionate as I’d like. And I’m trying to find something that give me a bit of definition, because I really don’t have much of a waist.

I agree with PP…if you go with something tapered at the edges it has an amazing effect on your waste line. My dress is more of a diamond shape (similiar to your first one) and it is quite slimming on me!
I love the sparkle of the etsy one – so what ever you decide I vote more sparkle and less “ribbon”! 🙂
Love the dress though!

What about this one? Chocolate brown ribbon instead… maybe velvet?
