I currently have a 1ct moissy solitaire and would like to upgrade the setting for our upcoming 5 year anniversary. My husband thought I’d keep the setting and upgrade to a diamond, but I am actually quite happy with the stone and think I would rather upgrade the setting. I’ve narrowed it down to these two settings, they are very similar but I can’t decide which one I like better and whether to go with rose or white gold! Option A is half-moon side stones with micro pave setting.
Option B is pear side stones with regular pave setting.

I love the first setting in rose gold! I wasn’t aware that James Allen would set moissy or sell their settings without you purchasing a centerstone from them. That’s great!

I know there is a difference, but there’s not that great of a difference to me to be swayed either way.

I like the pear side stones better, but I think rose gold is too trendy.

I prefer the half moon side stones. As far as metal color, that will really depend on you. Have you tried on both colors to see how they look against your skin tone? Do you have any pictures you can share with us so we might be able to weigh in on metal color a bit better?

I prefer the pear side stones, I think they make the center stone look bigger and the ring has a nicer overall shape. The first one looks like stones all clumped together, to me.

I like the white gold with pear side stones. The pear side stones really let the center stone shine, but they are all gorgeous.
