The girls are pretty short so the length would not be a problem. The tallest is 5’3” and the shortest is 4’11”. I’ve traited other dresses from david bridals and they’re are actually long for them. My theme color is light pink and gold and this dress fit perfectly. I just don’t know if it’s “formal” enough for wedding. I’ve been looking at too many dresses that I can’t tell which ones look good anymore :-/
This dress is really pretty but this looks a bit casual for a bridesmaids dress. Maybe your wedding is very casual though? My other issue with it for this purpose would be that this style isn’t going to be very flattering on many figures. I’m a size 8 but I have proportionately big hips and dresses of this cut always look terrible on me. So I’m probably a little biased here.
In a nutshell, change my no to yes if A) you are having a casual outdoor wedding and B) your bridesmaids are all super skinny. : )
Just depends how formal your wedding is. If guests won’t be wearing black tie, I think that dress is formal enough. And very cute!
love it for a casual wedding! Also, make sure that your bridesmaids all feel comfortable in that style. Busty ladies might struggle with the tube top.
All the ladies are between size 0 to 3 street sizes. My wedding, however, is in a catholic church. I don’t know what’s formal and casual anymore lol. I kept buying dresses and returning them. I think I’m more indecisive with bridemaid dresses than my own wedding dresses. Does anyone have any formal or semi formal bridemaid dresses? I wanted light pink too. I keep buying peachy dresses because apparently I can’t tell the difference between it but others can.
Personally, i dont think that this is appropriate for a catholic church wedding.
Being that your girls are all very skinny and short, i think the dress would be ok on them tho.
For a church wedding, i tend to lean towards long dresses. Much more formal for the church setting.
I don’t think church = long dresses necessarily, but this dress is quite casual, it’s true.
With hair and make-up, and maybe a wrap to cover their shoulders, I think it could be awesome. Very unique!
