We’re close to ordering my ering. I know I want a moissanite center stone with alternating sapphire and white moissanite side stones (the sapphires are a custom option that the company offers and I LOVE sapphires). These two designs are the finalists and we’re having a hard time deciding because I prefer one and my fiance prefers the other. 🙂
We like that the “slanted” design (eng129) has a unique look, but I am wondering if those sapphire side stones that I want would look nicer in the channel set (eng148). Any thoughts?

Both are beautiful, but I love the classic look of the first one.

I agree, I think with alternating sapphires and moissys, they’ll look better in the channel set.

I prefer the second one. I like the unique-ness of it.
Edit: I change my vote and I should learn to read. If you’re doing alternating sapphires, I like the first one better!

Ohhhh I absolutely looooove the slanted end129 one !! I think it would be gorgeous with sapphires !
P.S.: maybe you could add a poll, it would make it easier to keep track of the votes 🙂

I like the eng 148 but I am biased cos that is my ring 🙂

Yeah, if she were doing all sapphires down the sides, I think the slanted one could work! I just think the alternating stones PLUS the different directions.. just very busy!

I agree. I just got all crazy and clicked the links right away without reading her actual question. Haha.

channel… I prefer the more traditional look

You know, I think you guys are right that if we go with the slanted design then we should probably do ALL sapphires instead of the alternating colors. Thanks for the feedback guys, it is helping me to clarify my thoughts.

I love the second one with the curved sidestones.

I don’t really like channel set rings–for some reason they look fake to me. I don’t know why. I like the first one better, but yeah, do all sapphires. 🙂
