I have seen so many amazing ideas on here for bridesmaid gifts and wish I had the money to go all out but unfortunately we are on a very tight budget.
Here is what I have so far:
Cute clutch from charming charlies ($15) – these are for day of wedding so I know they aren’t really “gifts” but I’m putting stuff inside them
Lip gloss / hand sanitizer for inside clutch ($5)
Any ideas for other items to put in the clutch? Emergency items are not necessary bc my Maid/Matron of Honor and I are making one big emergency kit for the whole bridal party.
Picture frame w/ pic of me and the bridesmaid ($10)
One individual gift for each girl (small gift like $5 range) for example 1 girl loves plastic tumbler cups and uses them every day so she will get one of those, another friend loves flavored tea so I found a cute set at tjmaxx, another friend loves stationary/memo pads w her initials on them and I can fin those pretty cheap at marshalls.
Flip flops to change into at reception
Also a collage picture thank you card (make at walmart photo center for $1 each) with pictures of us through the years and a heartfelt thank you message inside that I will write.
This seems like not nearly as much as what others have done on here and I’m feeling like a
cheapskate. My bridesmaids are each chipping in $150 for my shower and bought their dresses ($100 each). I bought and already gave them their jewelry and let them wear shoes they already have. I am having a stylist come to my moms where we are getting ready the day of and gave them the option to get hair and/or makeup done. Some are getting both, one or the other, or neither but this way there was no pressure since we will all be getting ready at the same place anyway.
For my cousins wedding I was in, she did everything the same as I am, but after reading on here about people paying for dresses, hair, makeup, spa services, and getting tiffanys jewelry or designer handbags for their bridesmaids, I’m feeling terrible!! I appreciate everything they have done and want them to feel special and appreciated. Any advice for me??
