They are getting “horizon” blue dresses in whatever floor-length style that they want. The colors of the wedding are blue and black, and a little bit of yellow (sunflowers will be the flower.) The church we are getting married in requires (as I do,) that shoulders be covered for the ceremony. 3 out of the 5 girls don’t have a lot of money. As with the dresses, I personally don’t really care how “matchy-matchy” they are, I just don’t want it to look bad. The guys will be in black full-dress tuxes.

i’d go with matching black probably

here’s the idea, but I guess I really want to know how black would look-

I voted matching black and that I’d offer to pay for it, maybe as part of their Bridesmaid or Best Man gift. The black would go with the GMs in their black tuxes…

i went with any black, i would only vote matching if the dresses were matching, but since they are not, the same shrug may not look best with all the dresses. and i like the idea of black blue contrast on them. so i didn’t pick this option because its easy and cheap, but i honestly think it would look the best.

@dynamic_duo:ooh, thanks! I really have kind of already decided that’s what I’ll probably do, so I love to hear people verify that would look good!
