mjay :  Emerald would be SO striking for the target ring! I forgot to ask in my previous message- are you intending to wear this daily or are you thinking of something that would be more of a special occasion ring? I think that makes a difference in what you should consider.

And the pinwheel is still DROOL!

I love both options 1 & 2, and option 6 is lovely also! I voted 1 because you mentioned you felt it was small and 1 is DEFINITELY where the glitz is! However, I think the size is lovely and the stone is beautiful enough to carry itself in the plain bezel or on the floral band.

To me, enamel says “costume jewelry” and I’m not personally a fan of the target rings, but you do you! These are just my thoughts. The stone is gorgeous and I’m sure whatever you decide will be lovely.

I’m dying for a target ring so that got my vote. Yellow or rose gold (the whole thing so there’s not too much going on) with a colored stone halo – oh my ๐Ÿ˜

The hexagon black enamel in rose gold would be perfect for your stone!! ๐Ÿ˜

I love the new one you posted! It’s like the pinwheel minus the stone halo. Still has enough visual detail and if you are wanting some extra color for contrast you could do the side stones in a different stone like sapphire. Newest setting gets my vote ๐Ÿ™‚

mjay :  I usually don’t like bezels but I really like the enamel bezels you posted and think white would look lovely, like a PP suggested.

Just pick what you like best! I think they’ll all go because the rest of the ring will be a warm yummy yellow – gold and diamonds. I’d choose ruby but that’s just because I love them.

mjay :  That new option you posted is just gorgeous! But I’d skip the stones on the band. I still like the enamel bezel best, but this new twisted, brushed pinwheel design is really fun. Good luck!

Edit: I think adding a halo/target with colored stones would diminish the warm, buttery color of your center stone and possibly make it look muddy. If you do a halo or target, I’d suggest using white stones that will accentuate the color of your stone.
