Ok so I’ve had a lot of struggle to find the perfect wedding dress. But then last night I found a dress on the classifieds here and was stunned. It is so beautiful and it fits my wishes for a lacey, modern yet classy, modest dress. It even has buttons! But then looking online at etsy I found some other people offering wedding dresses that are vintage that are beautiful. I still need to get sized but I would love your opinions! Tell me what you ladies think!
Thank you so much for your help!

I like the buttons on #1. But I love everything else about #2!

Maybe it’s just me, but I think the Peter Pan collar on # 2 is weird. For me it would look better if it stopped at the scalloped neckline but I don’t know how the lace back will hold up without it. Everything else about it it looks good though. 🙂

@baldor1: I agree about the neckline needing to stop in the front at the scalloping.
You really need to try on dresses before deciding on a style, because you never know what will actually look good on your body.

@mcnetn3: good point. I forgot to mention that I have been with my fmil and my fsil and mother to try on dresses. I do look good in dresses that are either fitted around the rib cage and flare out or are mermaid cut. I think all three would look pretty on me. My only concern is that the shorter cupcake style dress would make me look short and stubby since I am 5″ 4′. The first dress the woman was 5″2′ and so it seems as though it would fit my body type fairly well.

@SweetRose – Go and find a cupcake style dress to try on and bring some heels around the size you want to wear. That will help you see the actual height you’ll have since you’re worried about that look. Also, 5’4″ is not THAT short. A good seamstress should also be able to to tailor that dress to a length that makes you look good, no matter your height.
On that note, the 2nd dress was absolutely the most striking.

ALL the dresses are pretty. Number two is definitely a fun look but I think number 1 is truly classic and would be my choice.

Number 2 is my favorite, but they are all beautiful! You can’t lose!

Number 2 is the one I like the most too, but @LeahP is right, you can’t go wrong, they’re all beautiful.
