They are 2 completely different gowns (its the Gemini in me) My family will not tell me what they think because they know I like them both! The color of the lace is difficult to see in the photos but it is an antique pink with ivory lace overlay and appliques. I lost a few lbs so the mermaid doesnt look like I am a sausage bursting out of the casing and the lace needs to be altered to fit 🙂

Ooooh I love the pink one! You look great in both though 🙂

my 2 cents.
Light train- easy movement- less drama.
Heavier rosette centered train, heavy, hard to go to bathroom etc.
both look great on you- so I would look at practicality, which makes you beam instantly, which feels you, which feels COMFORTABLE ON? those are things I think you should consider those are the three everyone I know who married before me, which is a lot of people i know told me to consider so I didn’t make some of the mistakes they did- like a dress they could barely dance in, or a dress they had to have 5 people help them pee in etc.
both look great on you- so it’s up to what makes you feel best!

That mermaid one is STUNNING!

The first dress is gorgeous on you!
The one with the rosettes is interesting but I only look at the dress, not you.

I love the lace dress! Mermaid dresses aren’t my fav in general, so I’m a bit biased.

The lace one looks too short

I absolutely LOVE the lace one!

I don’t like taffeta but the second dress does look great! Very flattering.

Love the mermaid!! The rosettes are gorgeous – very dramatic. It looks great on you!!

I like the mermaid better on you.

@KoiKove: that’s what it looks like to me, too. There is also something “off” about the length of the waist (too short).
Out of the two, the ruffly one is tons more flattering

I’m not typically a fan of mermaids or heavy skirts (and I love lace, A-lines and color) … but I actually like the second dress on you a lot better. Something seems off about the porportions in the lace dress to me and how it fits you. I also think the severe of a sweetheart is not as flattering of a neckline on you as the straight across (and I typically prefer sweethearts … this one is a total enigma to me!)

The first one, it’s so beautiful! I also think it will hold up better through time in case you care about future relatives reactions on what you were wearing back in 2013. 🙂
