I’m about 5 months away from my wedding and have realized I haven’t given the church much thought. I’m not very imaginative or creative so I’m having a difficult time trying to imagine how I should decorate. I think the church is cute so I don’t want to do too much but I also don’t want it to look like just another church service. My budget for flowers is very small so unfortunately I can’t just use flowers everywhere. My reception centerpieces are lanterns with more candles and votives surrounding them. I was thinking of bringing the lanterns into the church at the front along with other different sizes of candles (my Future Sister-In-Law who is 12 will be lighting candles before the ceremony begins). I also love the idea of having the shepherd’s hooks with candles along the aisle but I think the aisle is too narrow. What do you think I should bring in?
Here are pictures of the space:
ETA: I know the window looks like it is drowning everything with light. No worries though, the windows face east and we are having a late wedding. The windows also look out on a beautiful mountain range.
