I am having a nervous breakdown! I ordered a dress based on what my fiancee said he liked (not puffy, no lace, simple etc) I was happy with my dress (Maggie Sottero Adorae) which was the until I tried it on again after a few months… So I went and tried on a few other dresses, took pictures and photoshopped my face out to send my fiancee asking him to rank each dress. To make a long story short he didn’t pick the dress I bought. Go figure, he picked the most poofy lacy dress in the bunch (the Enzoani Erin!) I couldn’t believe it! I really need your opinions on which dress I should pick. I can’t get the deposit back for my first dress btw. Also if anyone has any dress suggestions of what you think would look good on my body type, I would really appreciate it. I don’t have any family here to help me:( THANK YOU!!!

The first dress is beautiful and elegant, but I had the WOW factor for the second dress! I think they’re both gorgeous! Just another reason you should “never trust a man”, bahahah!
How much are the price differences in the dress? How much will you lose on the deposit?
Good Luck — Keep us updated!

I prefer the Erin on you – it’s very magical and dreamy. You also look fabulous in the Adorae though too – it’s honestly whichever one YOU want and which one YOU feel more beautiful in.

I think your original dress looks stunning on you. I do like the second one as well. Real question is, your fiance’s opinion aside, which one do YOU like better? He will love you in either dress I’m sure 🙂

Wow! I really like the second dress on you but the Adorae looks gorgeous too. I think that your body type will look great in any dress with that silhouette, it is very flattering.

@Summy00: Thank you Summy! You’re my first response:) Financially it will be OK, I put a $600 non-refundable deposit but both dresses are WAY under the budget (both under $2k, my budget was $5k)I had set so that’s good. The only thing is I don’t have enough time to order the 2nd dress so I would have to buy it off the rack (the one in the pic) and have it brought in (it’s a size 8, I’m a size 2/4.) The other factor is our wedding will be in Hawaii. Do you think either of these dresses will look good on the beach? The second is very whimsical and romantic, I do like it:) Thank you SO much for your opinion!

I am a huge fan of lace dresses and my dress is lace but the Adorae is really drop dead gorgeous on you!! That and a november wedding the Satin seems to fit the season more

@milesbella: Thank you! I think I actually like the Erin a tad better, it’s more fantasy. The other is more sophisticated but I feel like the Erin is a little more playful and fun. I’m really indecisive! My fiancee is in fashion so I feel a lot of pressure as well!

@unixfairy: That’s what I was originally thinking but then I started to feel that I don’t care about what look is “supposed to” go with the setting, time of year etc and just wanting to have fun with it. The fact that you like both makes me feel less anxious so thank you!
