Since you ladies are experts on all things sparkly, I thought you might could tell what stone this ring is. My husband found it hidden in a jewelry box in a house he bought. We took it to a jewelry store and after looking at it for sometime they said it wasn’t a diamond. They did say it had some inclusions but they weren’t sure what the stone was. What ever it is, it is very pretty. Any guess on what it is? I forgot to mention, it’s the round one.

My guess is either white sapphire, white topaz or goshenite

I second topaz. Topaz can have a nice sparkle like that. What a find!

It’s beautiful! I’d take it to a second jeweler that specializes in gemstones. My first thought was white sapphire.

I think a gemologist will know, you should take it to a lab like IGL.
I do know for a fact that GIA takes stones that r not set in a setting for grading but IGL does…good luck 🐝 and must say your wedding set is gorgeous 😍🤭

I’m guessing white sapphire

mo86co : Thank you. I should have cleaned my ring before posting but, I was so interested in getting input on the other ring. I am going to have it looked at by a different jeweler.

moonz : It looks like white zircon to me, also called silver zircon. Zircon is a natural mineral, different from cubic zirconium. It’s very sparkly. I prefer it over white sapphire or topaz. It could also be a spinel.
