I recently started disliking my dress. It just isnt flowy or have any pazaz like I originally wanted. Since it is too late to change, I’m looking for a skirt to put over it! So does anyone have any suggestions? Anything similar to this or really poofy! Maybe even blush colored! I love this one below from bhldn but it is too expensive!

And here is my dress…

Seriously, you can MAKE these for $10-20, and make it everything you want because you can tailor it to your unique taste.
That said, there are few on etsy for ~$100:

FWIW, I think your dress is stunning, but I’m more of a ‘less is more’ and ‘simplicity is timeless’ gal. I think the clean lines, shape, and overall feel of your dress makes it absolutely gorgeous!!
But of course, adding some fun tulle never hurt anyone, and if it’ll make you happier, I say go for it 🙂 I can’t be much help in the search, just wanted to let you know that I love your dress!

futuremrsrcb: tulle comes in 108 inch width. That would be 9 ft. More than enough for a skirt and train.

futuremrsrcb: Your dress is perfect! It shows off your figure beautifully. If you want add a little something extra, have you thought of a cape veil instead?

This isn’t helpful for finding a more affordable alternative, but you could also consider an overskirt with lace patterning like on this Jim Hjelm gown (JH8413 Spring 2014). The style of your dress already seems fairly similar.
I agree though that your dress on its own is already very lovely.

cantwaittobeamrs: jofits: its a Mikaella dress. The fabric is amazing. It’s this super soft material called pique. thats what sold me on it, but it’s just missing everything that I want.

Your dress is seriously gorgeous! If you want to jazz it up a bit, I like the lace on the bottom of the overskirt that a pp posted. Have you tried looking on preownedweddingdress.com and oncewed? They might have the bhldn one you love.
A lace mantilla veil may also help you feel a bit more interesting in your dress. I’m guessing the one you’re wearing in the picture isn’t one you purchased? I’m not a huge fan of it. Your dress is so elegant and the veil seems a bit off to me. Something like this, but in a longer length would suit your dress and maybe be easier to find than an overskirt?

I have a 2 piece Alfred Angelo dress I bought on a sample sale and then I bought another dress because I changed my mind… see if this is something you may like. It’s about size 6, I am size 2, but it’s plain edge on the top, easy to resize.
