Ok, I’ve posted before about be accessory-challenged and I need some more help 🙂 I’m not sure what kind of veil to do with my dress Here’s my dress:
With all the detail, I think that all of my accessories shoud be minimalistic, including my veil. I’m also 5 feet tall, so I think that anything that goes below my elbows will shorten me. I thought choosing a veil would be easy until I realized how many choices are out there! Should I wear just a very plain, rough edge style, or some kind of embelishment? Help!
Oh, and I plan to buy from Etsy or another site with less-expensive veils, I can’t fathom paying $100 for somthing I’m going to wear for an hour. Thanks ladies!

I think it depends on where your ceremony is. If it is more casual (backyard, civil, etc), then you can do a shorter veil or a birdcage, if it is more formal such as a church, cathedral-length veil will look very nice and formal.
If the back of your dress is very beaded, then you want something with more sheer so guests can actually see the back of your dress (if your veil is longer), and it probably won’t need much beading to the veil either because your dress will balance it out.
When you bought your dress, were you able to try on different types of veils?
Sometimes it helps to try dress & veil on together to really see how it’ll look.

I think that a nice 1T or 2T veil, with little rhinestones would be pretty. The rhinestones will catch the light, but are not overpowering.
