So my wedding is coming up soon (end of May) and although I’ve had my dress for a while now I was on the fence if I wanted to wear a veil or not. As the time creeps closer I think I would like a veil for pictures and the ceremony. I have no style whatsoever so I have no idea what veil would look good with my dress. I’m thinking one that isn’t super short but isn’t super long. I’m attaching pics of my dress (model wearing it) for reference. Also, as the wedding gets closer it’s like we’re hemorrhaging money, so budget friendly would be a plus! I got my dress from BHLDN but their veils are quite expensive so I’m hoping some people on here have cheaper options. Please post links! Thanks so much 🙂

Also I don’t think I’m going to do an up-do if that makes a difference. My hair will be down or partly up or in some type of fancy side braid thing, haven’t decided yet!

I love one layer veils. I think lots of the girls recommend etsy for veils.

Try Blanca Veils. She’s on etsy and also has her own website now. My sister just recently got her veil there and it was very inexpensive and great quality. A fingertip length would look nice with your dress 🙂

I think chapel or cathedral length, one layer, plain. Not short, it will detract from the dress’s line. Should be easy to make actually. Maybe go and look in a fabric shop and see what they have?

I know you said not too long, but a plain, single tier cathedral veil would look so dreamy with that dress!!!

I was also on the fence and ended up with a one tier veil from Jjshouse. It arrived quickly, looks like I wanted, and only cost $12. They have quite a range. I recommend taking a look.

I’m also saying go long. Chapel or floor length. No embellishments and just a cut edge. Gorgeous. Maybe a drop veil if you fancy the blusher.

I agree with going long! It’ll flow into the dress rather than distract, and that dress is so chic that I think blending in but adding drama is the way to go. Something simple–I’m getting mine off of Etsy and would recommend that! Worst case, you can find a shop you like on there in terms of quality and have something custom made 🙂
