Hi everyone, I’m new to the boards, it was great to find this resource!
Ok, so I am crazy about this veil/headpiece. It looks to be a one-sided little burst of veil attached to a flower. It’s just so unique and fun to me. The pic is from the Watters WTOO website, but on their site they don’t seem to sell accessories.
I’m fairly new to combing the web for places to get things, so I need your help 🙂 In my limited searches on David’s Bridal, Etsy, and Google in general, I can’t find a headpiece like this. Searching for ‘side veil’ or ‘side veil flower’ usually just pulls up those cool short birdcage veils.
Anyone seen veils like this anywhere?

I would just find a veil you like on Etsy and ask them if they could customize this!

Beautiful piece. Best bet would be to make an alchemy request on etsy.

Actually I’m thinking this would be easy to DIY, starting with very simple one-tier veil like the one below (notice it doesn’t have any overlapping folds when worn “traditionally”). You could even purchase one of those DIY veil sets from Michaels and throw out the instructions. Fold the veil accordion style and attach one end to a comb and flower with white or invisible thread, using the picture you have as a guideline. As for the flower comb, shop etsy!

Thanks very much all of you! I didn’t even realize that Etsy had the Alchemy thing, what a great way to engage with designers! After reading your posts I did some searching, and found a vendor that makes pretty fantastic flowers and veils, so I will probably send them these pics and see what they think.
And jenbrander you’re right, if no one wants to make the whole thing, I’ll just get the flowers from this vendor and try and do the rest myself. Thanks a bunch!

I really liked a veil I saw on the Wtoo/Watters website and so I e-mailed them to ask. They replied and directed me to Toni Federici’s site http://headpieces.com/2009/index.php, where they get all the veils/headpieces for the WTOO website. I think yours might be a combo … but they were very helpful when I asked.
