Is that from Minted? It looks really familiar. If it is, you can customize the colors for free. I just customized colors for my STD from Minted. (I switched mustard lettering for orange.) I’m not sure if it’s always free to change the colors, but it definitely is right now.

@Ms. Dove:  D’oh! I knew I recognized it…. Wedding Paper Divas is the other invite site that I totally stalk. (I’m a bit obsessed with paper!) Definitely check out Minted, though – they have a bunch of really pretty vintage-style invites!

Have you checked out zazzle.com? They have thousands of options and the prices are pretty good too. Plus, they always send out promo codes, usually for 10-20% off orders.

Have you contacted WPD?  They might be able to offer you a solution.  Tell them how great their design is and how you’ve been searching and how this is perfect but the colours aren’t right.  They might not be able to help you, but if you don’t ask you’ll never know.  The worst they can say is “no”.

I second asking WPD if they’ll customize the colors.  I don’t think you should do purple & brown- not even close to your colors.

If you’re up for it, you could always make the invites yourself with that as an inspiration.  I did that with an invite that I loved but didn’t want to pay for letterpress.  I made mine in Illustrator and am having them printed on super heavy textured paper from Catprint- much cheaper and I love them more than the original.

Agree with PPs, I actually bought our STD magnets from Wedding Paper Divas.  They only had three color options but when I submitted the order, I wrote a note asking if I could have a different colored background.  They not only were able to change the color, they did it for free.  (You can also call them to ask… I’ve had great experience with customer service.)

they probably will not be able toc hnage the colors on this one.. as it looks to be that the artwork (border/MR. MRS) are the letterpressed part and the custom info is flat printed. WHich means that they letterpressed the  design in bulk (thousands) and then will flat print your info on the card. co the design is already done and printed… ie no custom colors….

NOw they may be able to letterpress a new set fo you with custom colors… but it will not even be close to that price.

I would look on etsy as well. Search for art-deco wedding invitations

Most invite companies will let you customize their existing products via email. If they don’t (and they are way out of your budget), check out etsy.com for something similar which can be customized entirely to your liking.

Don’t worry about the colors – no one will notice! Seriously! Do you remember the colors of invitations you’ve gotten in the past -and were you thinking about the invitations the day of the wedding?

Those are pretty, I think you should get them 🙂
