Ughhh… I’m 17 weeks pregnant and feel like I have nothing to wear. Darling Husband & I are attending an engagement party which will be on the formal side. Almost none of my dresses fit anymore so this is what I’ve got to work with. Please help me pick:

I think the first is the most flattering

@MrsRugbee: I agree, the first one.

I meant to choose 1, accidentally chose 3.

Definitely the first one. It looks more dressy and less clubby. Accessories would help too since the top is a little on the casual side (triangles). You look great, stand up straight and own it!

We are at a disadvantage as we can’t tell what the fabric is like, but none of the dresses look formal to me.

@julies1949: Yeah, the more I look at them, the less I think they are. :'(

@MrsRugbee: i like #1 but i also like shopping. i’m sure you can find something before the party!

I like the fit of number one but you’d have to dress it up somehow to make it formal. It doesn’t seem formal really. The middle one is the closest to formal but also seems clubby.
You have such a cute bump!

I’m in the minority, but I like dress 2.

@kaylee26: I agree. You can never go wrong with a LBD!

I can picture Dress #1 looking more fancy with your hair/make-up done, but more so with a statement necklace/bracelet and shoes. IMO, the black pumps don’t go with that particular dress. As far as how formal your dress needs to be would depend on the event and venue to determine if a shopping trip is necessary.

probably dress 1 if dressed up a bit. and different shoes i think (unless those are super comfortable in which case, as a fellow pregnant woman i say fuck it and go with whats comfy)

I like 3! Seems more elegant – but it’s long sleeved & unsure about the weather over there!

I like 3 the best! Looks the most formal to me.
