Welcome to weddingbee!  Maybe having a butterfly or two in your bouquet would be a nice touch?

My florist has a picture of a wedding she did after mine with butterflies here and there amongst the flowers. Beautiful and not overkill. Here’s a pic of a pew end and she had gorgeous purlple and yellow and green flowers at the reception with a butterfly here and there and a pic of the wedding bouquet and head table flowers in background:

I saw these butterflies on Etsy and thought they were pretty! They are edible and cute on cupcakes too. The shop is SugarRobot on Etsy. She has all different colors and sells other things like edible leaves and peacock feathers. Cute stuff!

You could do a wedding wish wall. You get a blank artists’ canvas, have shapes cut out of colored paper, guests write wishes on the back, and attach to the canvas with pins. You end up with a piece of art from your wedding.

I don’t know if you’ve ever been in a Neiman Marcus around the holidays, but a lot of times they will have this butterfly streamer cascade over the escalators.  Using cut out vellum butterflies, you could create a gorgeous visual effect from the ceiling, as an accent, behind the head table/cake table, as an arch during the ceremony, etc.
