1wallflower:  It’s a very beautiful dress but I always feel like ordering wedding gowns, or any article of clothing, can be a gamble, especially from eBay or a similar site. I’m not sure what your budget is for a wedding gown, but there are plenty of similar gowns at David’s Bridal and Alfred Angelo.

I suppose if you’re really set on the price and this seller in particular, go try on a similar gown at a salon and see how it looks on you. Most of the time with online sellers like this, they make the gown custom to your measurements and so they do not have a return or refund policy because the gown cannot be resold. More often than not, it is a buy at your own risk situation. Some brides may not mind, because it can be considered a minimal loss if the gown doesn’t turn out they way they expected.

For example, here’s one from Alfred Angelo, and you can definitely add a sash! It’s around $1100, again, not sure of your budget.

ETA: You can also look at these Maggie Sotteros, I filtered them so you can see the dresses similar to what you’re looking for.

Have you considered a bridesmaid dress. Many can be ordered in ivory and run below your budget. They look like casual wedding dresses.  Check out your local salon or the online retailers that also have shops,
