BEES! Please help I am freaking OUT. I went shopping today to find a dress for my rehearsal dinner, and broke the golden rule of wedding dress shopping…… I tried on another dress even though I already have mine.
ive lost a bit of weight in the last few weeks and thought “hey this is a nice dress it would be fun to try it on!”… and then actually ended up liking it MORE than my original dress. I’m also torn because my original dress is ALL BUTTONS so I literally will have to find a bridesmaid to undo me every time I want to pee (no i can’t lift the dress over my hips I’ve tried)
Please help me/ be honest/ (talk some sense into me if im just being ridiculous??) I spent 2000$ on original dress but something about the neckline is just reeeeally bugging me. This new dress is 400$ no tax. What should I do?! It fits like a glove.

I really love the new one!

if you want to spend the money, it is your choice.
also, for going to the bathroom, all you have to do is get the dress up in the front and have your friend hold the back. face the back wall of the toilet and squat over it to pee. so easy! i was glad someone told me this trick before my wedding. (and i had AF on my wedding day)

Keep your original dress. The new one is lovely but it doesn’t have the wow factor of your dress.

Is the second dress still under budget? If so just get it. You’re clearly way more excited about it than the first. Nothing wrong with that, just found something I feel is a much better fit too. Congrats on the weight loss btw. 😄 New dress looks great on you!

Yeah, I love the new one too! I ususally try not to say that when a bride alreadynhas a dress but the new one is so perfect on you.

Congrats on your weightloss!
First – in your “current dress” photos – is this pre-weightloss / alterations? If so, I think you might be liking your new slender frame in the new dress rather than the dress itself.
Second, for the dress opinion -I like the top 3/4 of the new dress, but I think the bottom is kind of cheap looking. Your first one is gorgeous, and id want to see post alteration photos of you in it to decide.
Lastly – if you do decide to buy it, you have to know that you will lose a significant amount on your first dress. You can probably sell it for lik $1k, which will cover the new dress, but it’s still a lot to lose, so it depends on how you feel about that.

I really really love your original dress. Like a PP said, it has a wow factor all over it.
If you really love this 2nd one, maybe buy that and have it as a reception dress? Just a thought!
Lastly, would they be able to alter it in time for the wedding?

You look more comfortable in the second one.

I like the first dress, as others have stated it has the wow factor.

I love the second dress, I think it fits you great, I love the back, and I would hate dealing with all the buttons on the first.

The second one is nice yes but I would stick with the original one especially since you spent 2000$ on it. Do you really want to spend another 400$ on another dress and have the 2000$ one sit in your closet never to be worn? In my opinion that is a lot of money to just through away.

Your original dress is way more stunning than the second one IMO! The bottom tulle portion of the second one looks very cheap compared to the rest of the dress…
