@w3ndy: Yep it works now! Hmm…Dress #2 with the pleats is unique, but i’m not wowed by it.  I like the fit and flare look on you better – you’ve got a fabulous body and shape!  That being said, I’m also not crazy about the top on this particular fit and flare you tried on (but it’s a personal preference!).

Honestly.. I’m not really a fan of either dress.  I like the fit of the mermaid type, but not that particular dress.  It too piece wise, the lines are much too harsh imo.  I dont think the second one is doing your body justice.

@pinkshoes:  I have to agree… I’m not really a fan of either. The bodice seems a little odd to me at the top on the 1st one. The 2nd one doesn’t wow me, especially with the price tag that comes with a Vera Wang.

    I would keep looking…. 🙁

I also wouldn’t commit to one brand. There are sooo many brands, why limit yourself…

Love the bottom of the first, the top looks like someone forgot to finish it… it looks like an undergarmet of some sort. The bottom one is cool, but the one big drape on the bottom looks really off to me too. Sorry. The fit on the top one is great but to me, it just looks not done.

Because I had a chiffon train, I love dress 2.  But even that’s too busy.  The shoulder and the big drape in the front is just too much.  As you can tell I like simplicity.

A few things about the first are throwing me off about dress number two. One, it looks like top and bottom don’t belong, and two the lines are really harsh, the horizontal one right around your waist makes it look a bit strange to me and I’m really not a fan of the way it outlines your chest, like ‘look here!’ That’s what it makes me think anyways. Usually I’m not that harsh on a dress but I’m just really not liking it. I do love the bottom, I just don’t like the top at all.

Dress two is also super unique in a good way, although I wish I could see a straight on picture from it, from that angle it looks like there is an odd bump in the front down in the hip area, but it could defintiely just be the angle making it look weird.

You said you feel like you’re having trouble finding the one…have you looked at other designers? Sometimes we have a set vision in our head but end up finding the dress that we truly love when we’re looking to look outside of that.

I too am not a fan of either to be honest but if I was in the vera wang store and had to pick one of these I’d go with #1….but you have such a rockin’ figure you will look fabulous in almost anything. I’m guessing your just very fashion forward for most of our tastes…I think alot of us gals are pretty traditional.

I like the bottom on the first one, but the top looks too much like a bustier bra. You have a great figure, but it gets lost in the second dress. I think that there is a beautiful dress out there with your name on it. Don’t give up! Be encouraged. Wink
