Actually that’s pretty standard.  Wedding photos have taken much longer than that in fact, because some photographers go through and edit each photo, or at least a few.  Not to mention the fact that they probably have so many other events since its prime season.  I’d give her some time.  Your photos will be ready and they’ll be beautiful, no worries!

You will get them. They do take sometime to get done. I am sure you will be anxious while you wait but they will be there.

Don’t stress!!!  Like OP have said it does take awhile to get professional pics back.  I think it was about 5 or so weeks after our e-pics that I got them in the mail.  Tell your Darling Husband to relax and that you’ll email her in a few weeks to ask about her progress.  Remember (and I say this in a nice way:) you are not her only client and as she stated before she just got back from vacation, it will take some time to make your pictures look perfect!!!! 🙂

I would wait one more week and then email her about the progress.  I totally understand your sentiment to want those photos!

I wouldn’t worry yet.  My photographer had our pictures and album back to us in just over a month but I think that was because he knew that we were moving soon.  It seems like at least 6 weeks or more is standard.

I am a photographer and I know quite a few other photographers as well, all of whom say they usually have the gallery up 2-3 weeks from the date of the event. During busy wedding season I can see 4-6 weeks, but some photographers are just slower than that. Don’t worry, I’m sure nothing has happened to the pics. OF COURSE she is going to give them to you. It’s just a matter of when 🙂

My photog told me 2-6 months for out photos.  I would leave her alone.  Check your contract to see what that says and don’t bug her unless that contracted time has passed.
