Have you considered the name Carolina? It’s the Italian form of Caroline and I think Carolina is beautiful.
(pronounced caro-lee-na; tbh I’ve never met a Carolina who pronounces her name caro-lie-na)

It’s a beautiful name but I’m trying to avoid anything that people won’t be able to pronounce (hence my hesitation about Cassandra!). I grew up with people always spelling my name wrong and I found that so frustrating! It is beautiful, though.

I actually like Caroline Mary.
Cute pet names for Caroline could be Cara or Lina. If you went with Caroline Maria you could call her Cara Mia, which means “my dear one” in Italian if IIRC.

Aww i love that but I have a close family member named Cara so we couldn’t use that but such a sweet name!! Thanks for the suggestion.
