I’m not keen on the slit AND the deep V on #1 so #2 gets my vote

littlepenguin99 :  You’re very welcome! And don’t worry: that silhouette is great on you.

littlepenguin99 :  You are stunning bee! I think both dresses compliments your amazing figure! With that said, I think there’s definitely a better dress out there for you.

Keep looking. You have an amazing figure and none of those dresses does it justice.

It is definitely not you, it is the dresses. You have a lovely figure and I can’t imagine anyone looking better in those gowns. There are just much better ones out there.

littlepenguin99 :  The dresses you posted looked great on you, so the silouhette is not the problem. It’s the dress design itself. #1 was too much with the cleavage + slit, and #2 is kinda dated. I would stick with that silouhette if you like it but find something more classy for lack of a better word.

littlepenguin99 :  I just wanted to chime in that you have such a gorgeous figure! When you find the dress you love, you’re going to rock it, whatever the silhouette you choose. You’re going to make a beautiful bride.

You have an amazing figure and look beautiful in both, but I agree that you can find something better. The second style looks dated. I would try to find something similar to the first silhouette, but maybe with less of a deep slit.

I agree with the PPs – the silhouettes aren’t the problem – the styles are.  The first one with both a deep V and the slit looks more Vegas costume of a wedding dress to me than actual wedding dress.  The second dress looks fine and if you love that style and then go for it – it’s just a style that was completely done to death within the last decade and is sort of reaching the end of its style cycle.  It’s like that David’s Bridal dress with the colored embroidery and bow that was done to death in the late 90s and early 00s – it’s certainly a pretty and flattering dress, which is why everyone picked it and is now so closely associated with that time period.  But there’s nothing inherently wrong with it.

I agree with every one else that you should keep looking. I would definitely stay in the same style though, as you look great in that style. The first dress would be perfect if it did not have the slit and if it was a bit more conservative at the bust. I would try to find something else similar to that one.
