I’m trying to decide between Casablanca 2077 vs Casablanca 1971.
If I pick 2077, i’ll be altering the dress to have slimmer line than its original ball gown type.
The only downside about 1971 for me is that my wedding’s gonna be beach wedding and I’m afraid that it won’t stand out it pictures.
I love the top of 2077 but not the bottom.
I love the slim A-line of 1971. And love the way it fits me.

Is it possible to altera all gown dress to slimmer A-line?
Would it look ok with 2077 dress?
Please help!! 🙂 thank you!! 🙂

I don’t know if it would work to cut down the skirt on the first one, but it might work to just wear a smaller crinoline or no crinoline underneath!

I don’t know about making it a-line but I think 1971 will show up in beach photos. I think it’s a beautiful dress!

I think that to make it slimmer you would just have some layers removed from the underneath of the skirt, but I like the 1971 better for the beach.

I agree with JenGirl.
Hmmm I think 1971 is better for a beach wedding- 2077 seems too ballroom-y to me. And if it needs major alterations, it might not be worth it. You should pick what looks best on you and what will feel good, though! It could be hot, and remember that your dress could be dragging on the sand. I think a more fitted or A-line dress would feel more comfortable on the beach.
Have you tried on either of the dresses yet? If you haven’t, you definitely need to! That will help because you will probably have a gut feeling about which feels better and which flatters you more!

Have you tired on any of these dresses yet or have pictures of you in them? 🙂 I love the first one and they can remove some under poof to make it more A line. I tried on the 1971 and it was a hot mess on me lol It may look beautiful on you though and the flowyness of it is perfect for a beach too! My vote is for dress one though 🙂
