Okay last post about headbands I promise! I’m posting pics of my inspiration for hair (both pics from hive members, yay!). I really want to wear a headband but I’m having trouble deciding which one. I’d love some opinions!
My hair inspiration:
(no hair comb for me though)
Pros: I love it!
Cons: Price ($85 + shipping) and it is on a ribbon… I really want a metal headband.
Pro: Price ($12 + shipping), its metal
Cons: Does it look cheap?
Pro: metal, price is ok-ish($50 + shipping)
Cons: Does it look cheap? Not as unique as A
Pros: More unique, metal
Cons: “brooch” style (I prefer a symmetrical headband), price ($65 + shipping)
Pros: metal, goes with winter wedding, price is okay-ish ($52+ shipping)
Cons: “brooch” design vs. symmetrical
And because I haven’t added quite ENOUGH pictures to this thread… here are pics of me in my dress:
If you’ve made it this far… you rock! Thoughts?

I chose A, because that is my style, but then I saw your dress and maybe it doesn’t quite go. A is a little more modern and your dress more traditional/soft. I think the last one would go nice E- with the flowers

So here’s my first thought: will it be comfortable to have a metal headband? They always give me headaches and I don’t want you to have a headache on your wedding day.
P.S. Great dress!

I really like both A and D –

@TheFutureMcBride: really? I wear headbands quite a bit and they rarely give me issues. If they give me a headache I always just bend the ends out a little bit. I don’t want a ribbon one because they ALWAYS fall off my head. Granted it would be put in by a professional this time… but I’ve tried pinning, clipping, spraying… my hair is too damn slippery! haha.

i choose C but i also love D 🙂

Since your dress has some sparkly detail on the top of the dress at the upper right side, I wouldn’t choose A,B, or C because I think it would be sparkle overload.
I think option D & E will work well with your dress, because it will compliement your dress detail with just the right amount of sparkle. Plus D is SO CUTE!!

I’m torn between A and E! But I voted for E since you said you would rather have a metal headband. Honestly – I wasn’t much of a fan of ANY of the others, but those two really caught my eye!

@CorgiTales: Really? Well then, I’ll take another look at your choices, but say that I’m very frugal *cough* cheap…

i love A and E. if you really want symmetrical, go with A. you can have your hairstylist cut off the ribbon and pin in to your head.

I like E, I think it would go great with your dress and hairstyle!

i chose D with E as a close second.
in regards to what the futuremcbride said, metal headbands give me a headache as well, but since you wear headbands a lot i’m guessing it won’t be a problem for you. i don’t think a ribbon headband would stay in my hair either…it’s very slippery as well and things tend to slide right out of my hair.

I love E! I also like D, but I think E has a unique style that would look great with the embellishment on your dress. Beautiful dress, btw!
