Hi Bees, looking like I will be ordering my dress this weekend. I don’t like how closed in the original neckline is and am going to have the company alter it for me. I spent all day trying to figure out how I want it and I still can’t decide…. Here is the dress before alterations and then two pictures of myself in a dress where I tried to make look like my top two necklines. Which would you pick, Bees?

I prefer the original best, but of your options I’d go A. This dress doesnt read as a good ‘off the shoulder’ type.

I really love the original! How is it really different from choice B?

I just ordered my dress today and picked one like choice b so I have to go for that! I think bateau necklines look great with part illusion/lace at the top.

I voted for the original thinking it was choice A. The original is beautiful.

The original neckline looks best to me.

I like B best, I love lace and boatnecks/off the shoulder

I like the dress how it is. The 2 neckline will look nice and romantic

Thank you all for the advice! I thought about it and played around with the neckline in photoshop. The option I am going with most closely looks like choice B. Here is the photoshop if anyone is interested: (Also, not the best at photoshop – it was more to get an idea of how it would look.)

I like that , I always like a bateau neckline, so flattering . And on A line/ ballgown dresses they balance the skirt nicely. Mind you I ,like the unusual highnecked look of the original too

The original is gorgeous, but I chose Be, in love boat neck .. Elongates neck and shoulder bones, very very classy.
Beautiful dress bee!
