So I’ve narrowed my search down to two wonderful dresses and I need some serious help making the final decision. I love both of these dresses so much in very different ways….
Little background on location, me and my groomy:
We are getting married in New Husband by the White Mountains at an extremely beautiful, quaint, Inn. The ceremony will be held either out front of the inn in a small garden, or in the apple orchard. (Yes we get to choose!) Our reception site is a beautiful old bard, with wrap around balcony, bar, and to die for candle light. Here are photo’s from another wedding done at this location
Theme: We going to do a modern take on the 40’s theme i believe. I fiance is in the navy and we’ve recreated all sorts of amazing old fashion WWII pictures for the event… even the one in time square which turned out fantastic and i will post to the site soon.
So now you know some background… let me hear from you all!

If you want modern vintage I would go for the lace dress. But I love #2, I love the color!!

The first one hands down! It is so much more beautiful, elegant, and most importantly timeless. I think you’ll forever look at your pictures and be happy with your selection. It looks fabulous on you!

I love the first one! you should do a poll 🙂

I think the 2nd one looks more 1940’s to me. The detail on the skirt is definitely something that dressmakers back then would have done. I’m thinking of the beautiful gowns in those old movies…they always had elaborate details.
Both gowns are gorgeous though, so you couldn’t go wrong with either one.
Close your eyes, and imagine the picture in your wedding album of you walking down the aisle.
Which dress did you see?

Both are beautiful and you really have to choose which one you want to wear as your hopefully only wedding dress ever but if you are asking which one goes with the theme more, I would say the first one because of the lace.

The first one! It looks fantastic on you and would go better with your theme than the second one.

I think the 2nd one seems more 40’s to me! I love how it looks on you too! Gorgeous!

I would’ve normally said the lace one (Enzoani?) for a vintage theme but I think the 2nd one looks quite 40s for some reason. So I vote number 2.

I honestly think you look beautiful in both of them. I think the 2nd one looks more modern 40s to me and I love the color! I’d probably pick #2!

the first dress is gorgeous, and suits you and the theme so well.

Dress 2 without a doubt!!! You look fantastic in it! the first dress is pretty…and i think a little predictable. You are really rocking dress 2!!! But choose veil #1! I think changing the veil would make it a little less “40s” as everyone says, and more contemporary and classic, but will still keep it 40s enough for your theme!

The 1st dress matches that look perfectly. You look beautiful in both though!!!

I think the second one fits the style you describe better, but you couldn’t go wrong with either. They’re both beautiful and very flattering.
Personally, I am madly in love with the first one. Please share the designer and style number!

They’re both gorgeous–I can see why you would have a difficult time making a decision 🙂 I’m on the fence for which one fits your theme better. Personally, when I first saw the dresses, I loved the lace one, but the more I look at the satin one the more I like it for your theme also. So I think it should really come down to which one you like the best and could envision yourself walking down the aisle in.
