Here are a couple of photos of our reception dinner venue. In the evening it is a little more orangey and warm, but in the summer evening the colouring may be inbetween the two pictures.
I have no idea what to choose. We are doing our decor in white, ivory and gold but I think the space would benefit from an accent colour in the flowers and possibly bouquets.
I’m open to any suggestions.. except shades of pink/coral. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I think a shade of red would really compliment all the wood, especially the chairs. Do you have a certain style in mind? I definitely think “romantic” when looking at the pictures.

That is freaking gorgeous. I personally love a deep purple (like a plum/eggplant) with that warm lighting.

Warm colors on the orange or red side.

How about true purple and bright greens! Ahh..though I’m doing those colors so I’m partial. I think it’d look nice in that room! My venue has a lot of wood and warm tones as well. The greens would make it pop!

My suggestion would be to do some research on what flowers are available locally at the time of your wedding and fall in love with one of those.
White, ivory and gold are all neutrals. You can use any other color you like.

Thanks for the recommendations so far, ladies!
@bdockery: Yes, definitely romantic, elegant and maybe a little bit French?! We have considered red roses.. I think they are a bit too traditional for me but I’m not super picky so they could definitely work. They are beautiful and Costco has them so I can DIY the table flowers and save some $$!
@NAvery: I do LOVEEE me some eggplant, but I am not sure if I can convince the man. I was thinking burgundy might be a good option but is that old fashioned?!
@beachbride1216: That’s funny, those are exactly the colours my Fiance suggested when we had dinner there last week. I am worried they may blend in too much though instead of standing out? But maybe that’s okay.. I think the venue speaks for itself, it has a lot of history.
@kes18: I have to tell you that while the colours you suggested don’t quite suit the style of our wedding, I LOVE THEM! One of my favourite colour combos and I think they look beautiful in the photo you attached.
@julies1949: I’m hitting the flower shop tomorrow to ask about seasonal flowers. We’re definitely on a budget so hopefully I can find something in season, pretty, and budget friendly!
