I need some help choosing my engagement ring. I’ve been on the hunt for a while, and now I can’t decide between these 3! My future-fiance isn’t much help, liking them all for different reasons, and he doesn’t mind which one I choose. Sorry for the rediculous sized images… not sure how to shrink them!
The first one is an oval. In the picture it’s CZ, but I would be getting it made with moissanites (long story behind that one!) so it will be much more sparkly! I love the fact that not many people have oval rings, and it suits my finger very well.
The second one is a much more traditional 3-stone round. I have put the wedding band I want with it in the picture just to see how they look together. I like that this is such a traditional ring, but that also kind of puts me off a bit – so many people have a similar thing!
The last one I am completely in love with the band, but imagine it made with a big round or oval stone in the centre instead of the mini-halo design. Again, it’s paired with the band I like. I love how dainty and original the band is – you get the mini sparklies as well as the clean-cut straight bits. But then I’m a bit worried about it looking too much like a dress ring and not an engagement ring…
I really don’t know which way to go, they all speak to different sides of my personality, and I like them all for different reasons too. Please give me your opinion! <3

My ring is pretty similar to your first one, and I love the oval stone 🙂 But I also love the band in the third option – I think that with an oval could be great, and it goes well with your wedding band too

I think the oval ring suits your hand the best 🙂

From these images, I like the oval ring the best, possibly because I prefer the look of a ring that has one larger, more dominant stone in the center. However, what bothers me, personally, about an oval-shaped stone is the dark, “bowtie” spot that is present in the middle of the stone. Would you be able to consider a round stone in the same setting?

@Brielle: Moissanites (my stone of choice) actually have very little bow-tie! So I wouldn’t need to worry about that so much, but good point!
Thanks everyone for your responses so far! The oval ring was the first one I saw in a window and fell in love with (had to drag the Boyfriend or Best Friend back so I could try it on haha) so I am leaning toward that the most I think. But then I love the band of the third one so much! Arghhh decisions….

I had no idea oval moissanites would not have the bowtie in them. What a great feature of that particular stone. I actually had never heard of moissanite until I joined WB, but I finally had the opportunity to see a pair of moissanite earrings in a jewelry store while on vacation at a beach several months ago, and they were beautiful.

I love the cross-over band, but I think it clashes with the wedding band. Are you set on it? If so, I would go with the first oval ring.

That oval ring is gorgeous, and I’m not usually a fan of ovals!

WOW I love all three! ……so not helpful lol

I love the last band and think if you are able to put an oval in it, it will look best on your finger.

I like the band on the third one, with the modifications you’d make. I think the band gives it a unique touch.
