I think dress one with straps like dress two would be best. I think it’s a dress suitable (once straps are added) for a JBM but also classy for them to feel grown up and special as they are apart of your day.

I think dress #2 is the most flattering/age appropropriate for Jr bridesmaids and still allows for your entire bridal party to look cohesive.  Dress 1 would also be good (with straps!) but that might be a lot of extra work.  Either of those would be a great options.  As far as the non-50s/60s vibe – I don’t know.  I think fashion for girls was vastly different than fashion for woman in that era, so it could still “fit.”

I’d avoid #3 as it looks a little too flower-girl for my taste.  And I agree that straps at that age are a must.

I like #2 – I think it’s age appropriate and very pretty. I dont like young girls wearing strapless dresses, looks too sexy/mature for that age

I like dress 1, but I don’t think you should remove the flower.

I think #1 or #2 would work great, but I voted for #2 just based on the neckline.  I feel like a sweetheart neckline should be reserved for someone with boobs!

@Sparkle Pony:  JW, why do you hate the belt? I think that’s part of what makes the dress so cute!

for me its a toss-up between #1 and #2.. overall i like 1 better.. but i agree with the ‘sweetheart neckline should be reserved for boobs’ comment haha and so i’d probably say 2.. both are so similar and definitely cute. 1 has more of the mad men vibe.. but 2 is a bit more age appropriate. either way- i love the choices and your theme!

The only one of those dresses I would let my 9 year old wear is the third one.  The first two are much too bare on top.  I also think the 3rd one goes best with the theme of your wedding.
