Just a thought–if you know someone that can sew, or you have a reasonably priced seamstress, see how much it would cost to sew on little buttons down the back of the maggie sottero train! That would add some of the oomph you love from the first dress.

You look great it both, but I like the top of #2 better…it looks more flattering and elegant than #1. So dress #2 definitely has a WOW factor from the front/top of the dress and dress #1 has a WOW factor from the back/train…I say go for the WOW factor from the front (and the corset is cute too) 🙂
I know what you mean about falling in love with the train of #1 though…I tried the Venice on too and for a second thought about getting it, but ultimately went with a different dress (like you I looked at the prices and reasoned that I didn’t like it twice as much as another dress)

Sweetie, my opinion is that the Maggie S. dress (#2) is MUCH more flattering on you. It makes you look taller and more slim. The back of dress #1 makes your bootie look big. I love the second one on you, hands down!!!

You look great in both but I think I like the Venice dress best.
