I have just narrowed my search down to two dresses… Neither of these dresses fit perfectly and would have to be ordered in my size but I can’t decide which of the two are most flattering for my plus size figure. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

@anjelrae: I like the dress on the right. The dropped waist on the left hits you a little too low on your hips.

I like the one on the right better as well.

It’s hard to tell because neither dress is in your size, but I think you will be happier with the shape of #1. I have been told that empire waists (a la #2) are not flattering for plus sizes.

I disagree with the previous posters. The form fitted ruching on the left will give you a great shape once it’s fitted to your body. The a-line on the right will just “hang.” Show off those beautiful curves!

I love the dress on the right it is gorgeous and very flattering

+1. I voted for the one on the left because of this

I like the one on the left. It gives you a nice hourglass shape. The other just seems to hang

I picked the one on the right!! I really think it’s beautiful on you!!!!!

Definitely the one on the left! I always associate empire waists with pregnancy, besides I love the ruching and the lace, seems much more detailed!

Fit and flare is more flattering 🙂

I think the dress on the right is much more figure flattering!

Definitely the one on the left. The dress on the right give you no shape.
I tend to think empire dresses are the most unflattering silhouette on any figure.

I say the dress on the right! It is beautiful.
