I wouldnt change from a mermaid to a full length ball gown for reception, I would do either wear the mermaid for the reception and wear a ball gown to the ceremony or wear the mermaid for both!!

I would do #1. I don’t see why you would change into a ballgown. Why not just wear the ballgown for the ceremony. #1 says it’s time to party!

@Miss Tattoo:  she wants to shorten the ballgown to tea length.

my vote goes to #2, all the way.  simple and understated, and i like the sleeve detail.  i think it would look great tea length, especially with another crinoline to give it the extra-fluffy ’50s look, lol.

I voted #1, I love the style/cut/detail/etc.   I also like that the shape and neckline are so different than your other dress.  The 2 reema acras are beautiful, but they remind me of your other dress in terms of neckline and the skirt.

LOVE #2!! Whoever thought of doing it tea length is brilliant! Although I will admit that #1 seems to have a similar fabric to your actual wedding dress. But if that doesn’t matter too much to you go for #2 – either full or tea length, it’s a great looking dress!

I LOVE #2.  If I could choose another wedding dress, I would pick this one. 😛

I love #2, but I think you should keep the length as is, It is more special and weddingie to me since it is completely different comparing to your first dress. In the case you want to resell later if you do, it has more value and easier to resell if the length is long.

Some long dresses are pretty to be long, when shortened, it just doesn’t look right. That’s just my personal opinion. Hope this helps.
