My Fiance has his heart set on a black tungsten band. And the more I’ve thought about it, the more I want our sets to ‘go together’. As a result, I’ve fallen in love with black diamonds; more specifically, a halo set black diamond ring. I’ve picked out an amazing ring that we’ll buy in the next little while, but I need help in figuring out what band would look best! I love the look of gaps, so that’s no problem at all. I don’t want a wrap or 2-band set, I just want one separate wedding band.
My (hopeful) E-Ring
Now what band?!
#1: White and black diamond alternate
#2 Black diamond band
#3 Thin black/white twisted
#4 Thick black/white twisted
#5 White diamond eternity ring
We’re still months away from ordering anything, but we’d like to know how much exactly to save up for. We’re broke students! Also, if any of you lovely ladies have black diamonds, please post pics, I’d love to see!

Nice. I love the thin twisted black and white. I was looking at something like that for myself too. I have a 3 stone black diamond with white diamonds on the side.

@Gingersnap: Beautiful black ring! Would you consider going with a stoneless band? If you’re a broke student, it might help to just get a plain gold band to go with your ring. But if you hate that idea, then forget it. 🙂

@brideatbeach: Oh no, I’m totally open to a plain band. But when these are all under $300, it’s hard to say no to the sparkles! 😛

I like 1 and 5, but could only vote once. :p
I looooove that ring. And hello fellow broke college student. 🙂 Grad school is kicking my behind, financially.

I would go with the white eternity band. This will really allow your center stone to be the center of attention!!

@Gingersnap: OH, I didn’t see where you said that. Then I like #1. 🙂

I really like 1 and 5. I think they’d sit nicely up against your e-ring.

I voted for number 2 but I like both 1 and 2. I think either would look gorgeous with your e-ring

I like the alternating one as well, but I am IN LOVE with the thin twisty one!
