    I voted for quiches, shrimp cocktail, and wings.  I feel that you should do at least 1 vegetarian option, 1 option without cheese/dairy/nuts, and something that isn’t too spicy so that everyone can have something.

    I second the provision of a gluten free/dairy free/vegetarian choice.  Put it all into one and there should be at least one thing for some folks to eat 🙂

    @Brooklyn55:  I voted quiche, canapes, and stuffed mushrooms.  Have you had a tasting?  That might help you pick what you like best.

    I personally like things that are fresh and light. Just enough to hold you off but won’t be too heavy in flavor for the meal.

    (FYI, I chose shrimp cocktail, assorted canapes, and stuffed mushrooms. Also, artichokes will be included in your entree so I would think that might be a little too much.)

    @Brooklyn55:  Ah okay.  They included the hors d’oeuvres during our menu tasting so that’s why I asked.  I thought that was normal, but I guess we just got lucky.  🙂

    @Brooklyn55:  I see that your Future Mother-In-Law is severly allergic to shellfish, so make sure you don’t do the crab stuffed mushrooms either. I have the same allergy and I am always so worried with hors d’ouerves since you don’t always know whats in them. She will be at ease knowing that there is nothing at the wedding that will send her to the ER! I know you can’t get rid of everything people may be allergic too, but for FI’s mom its best to try Laughing
