**commence immature giggling**
Fiance, who dabbles in graphic design, offered to design our Save-The-Date Cards for our vineyard wedding this summer. Since we have not taken e-pics yet, we decided to base our design off of something we found online and really liked… and while FI had trouble matching the design exactly, I think he came up with some great alternatives. The theme we are going for is “rustic elegance”.
What do you bees think?? What should we keep/change? We’re open to any and all suggestions! (And to be honest, really need them… I am the most indecisive person ever!!)
And here is our inspiration:
#1 is my favourite! Really cute and the small pattern on the bottle is a nice touch, the full pattern is too much going on for the date to stand out and then no pattern bottle is too plain. Hope this helps in your decision!

Ok really thought this was about something else. Did not know STD can also mean save the date….
In answer to you actuall question, I like the last one.

I like the first one the best. I would have the designer add the design on the bottle to the top as well, above the 8.24.13.

Some great responses so far, thanks ladies!!
@Twizbe: Lol, it’s totally my favorite acronym on the Bee for just that reason!
@mrg1005: Ohhh good idea, I’ll have hime fiddle around with that later! How you you suggest? Should the design be tilted in the opposite direction (higher on right than left), or should it look the same as underneath the date?

#3 is my favorite, because it’s closest to your inspiration design.
Question: Will the “and” between your names be in script, like the inspiration? Because I think that really softens the design nicely. With everything in block letters (as it looks now), it’s too harsh – too masculine.
Also, will your background be cream? That also helps soften it. Makes it look more professional as well.

I personally like the inspiration best, but out of the three designed by the Fiance, #1 is the clear standout. It’s quite lovely.

@Reeniero: It will be on cream! We haven’t tried it with the “and” – we will have to try that when I get home!
Perhaps if we make the font smaller like the inspiration, it will look a little more delicate?

# 1 looks the best.
2nd one is too plain and the 3rd one is too much…..1st is just right!!

I love the first one!! He did a great job.

Love Love Love #1. It definitely stood out the most to me. The inspiration is nice but the first one is just lovely!

I think if you want to get closer to your inspiration picture, you should make the detailing on three more spaced out. The detailing is gorgeous, but there’s just a little too much of it.

2 is too boring and 3 is too busy and 1 is just right!
