The pink pair. Fits the period the best. The other ones are very modern interpretations.

I voted for #3, but the will be well hidden under your dress, so I’d only go for it if $500 is no big deal.

I said #2, they are the most unique and I love the blue soles, your something blue! I might want to dye them something other than white though, maybe champagne.

I voted for the first pair, but I’m sure you can find something almost identical for a much lower price. Here’s a great Etsy shop that makes some neat shoes that would fit the period: http://www.etsy.com/shop/OxfordHeaven

I also think it’d be hilarious if you wore this for some getting ready (hair, makeup?) pics. 😉

@LuckyJuls: Your dress looks beautiful! Do you have any other pictures? I’d really like to see it from the front and a better view of the back!

@Mrs Grape: I feel horrible for laughing. But I laughed.

ETA: Althought, I have to say the quote kills me a little bit. Since it’s historically inaccurate. But the zipper part made me lol.

@galloway111: My favorite part is that it says “Let them eat cake” on the front. ;D (I shamelessly used Google Translate for that part.)

@Mrs Grape: I had to use Google too, which is why I edited my post, lol. I didn’t know for sure what it said before.

I was hoping it would translate to her last words, but oh well.

Before I opened the post, the first pair was close to what I was imagining (same color and pointed toe, although I pictured more ankle boot-like shoe), but I love the slingback, so the first pair definitely has my vote.

Posting one more time to show you all these, which are awesome (and, at something like $6k, awesomely expensive). 😀

They also come in kind of a cerulean shade and blush.

@stephanie63087: My little heart went pitty-pat. And Darling Husband, of course, says they’re “disgusting.” I’d blow out an ankle for sure, but I love how quirky they are!
