Have you considered looking at sample sales? Also, you should try going to the a national Wedding show as lots of stores offer discounts on orders made at the shows. My friend got her Pronovias gown with a 15% discount that way. Unfortunately Pronovias run a bit higher in price than you had in mind,  if I remember correctly their starting point is £1200 upwards and lace tends to be quite pricey… Check out Mark Lesley perhaps, they have some lovely wedding dresses and are a bit more reasonably priced and most should be in your price point. I got my dress from them so maybe I am biast though 🙂

Most importantly, just go and try a few things on to see what style you like and that suits you, and have run!! Best of luck! 🙂

Benjamin Roberts has some gorgeous, well made, and well priced gowns. For those of us in the US, they arecalled Anjolique. The company is owned by the family that owns Enzoani, and tge gowns are manufactured in the same facility, to the same standards.
