Hello bees.. I know it’s a bit weird, but I’m planning my FI’s bachelor party. His groomsmen (his brother, his sister, his cousin, and his BIL) are kind of brain-dead, and completely clueless when it comes to anything wedding related. They aren’t planning a bachelor party for Fiance, so I’m doing it for him. I want him to have a fun night out before the wedding.
There’s about 20 guys in total, ranging in ages from 30-50. I have booked a paintball field for all the guys for a couple housrs in the afternoon, but I’m stuck as to want to plan afterwards. Do I just send them to a bar with some pool tables and just say have fun (FI and I go to this particular bar a lot, and we love it). Or should I plan something else fun for after the paintball?
A little background.. These guys are all big drinkers, fun guys, but older guys so nobody is into strippers or anything like that (I’d have no problem sending them to a strip club or hiring strippers, but I’ve asked Fiance and a few of the other guys and nobody wants that).
So any ideas bees? I just want it to be a fun night for my Fiance. We are parents so he doesn’t get out much in his own with his guy friends.

I would let them figure out the rest of the day on their own.

@FortiesFlare: I would maybe reserve a couple pool tables at the bar and let them take it from there. They’ll probably want to be kind of chill after running around the paintball field.

reservations at restaurant after, do you have any breweries near you? you could do beer tasting

If you think they may want some sort of “Event” pub golf might be fun without getting too roudy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pub_Golf but they might just want to relax at one place and shoot some pool.

I’d do reservations for dinner somewhere too. Brewery is a great idea. Let them figure out the rest.
There’s a lot of other more structured ideas, like a poker game if they’re into that. As PP mentioned, pub golf is a good idea if they want to go to bars.

Funny, my brother is the best man and asked me to help plan the bachelor party too. I’m sending them all down to San Diego on the surf liner train, and they are taking a brewery tour, 4 breweries, 5 hours including lunch and a souvenir glass. They have a hotel in the Gaslamp district to go out that night. These boys are total drinkers…I can’t wait to see the pictures! As long as they make sure my guy has a great time.
