I think the BE Willow design looks more gardeny when you have different coloured accent stones. My friend has it (or something based on it) with green accent stones that look leafy.

@anonnybee1:  First of all: Happy Anniversary! Your stone is gorgeous, and looks really beautiful on your finger, even though it’s in a temporary setting at the moment. (I’m presuming that the stone you show in the solitaire pictures you shared is the new stone. If I’m wrong, my apologies!)

You mentioned that you fell in love with a “rose garden” setting in a store a few years ago. What were the elements and details that drew you to that particular setting? Did it look similiar to the “Willow” style setting? Or did it have more details to it that made it seem more “garden” or “flower/rose garden”? (I hope this makes sense. I’m feeling really clumsy in my communications today!)

I’m not sure if it’s the 3 stones that are throwing you off of the “garden” feeling, or if it is that you would like to see more elements in the setting itself. For example: a different colored stone for the leaves, as PP suggested. Or you could add more floral detailing on the band or the gallery of the ring. When you look at your setting, what would make you think “rose garden”?

As an example, I have a “roses”/”rose garden” themed setting. I looked at pictures of climbing roses on walls and fences as inspiration for the design and tried to figure out what types of elements I would like in the setting that would make me think about that when I looked at it. (Again, I hope this makes sense.) For me, that meant having roses depicted in the actual setting, along with a twisted band to mimic vines and some leaves. I love a detailed basket, so I tried to bring the look of a “trellis” or something the roses would grow on into the basket. This is just an example from my own experience, and what works for me definitely might not work for everyone!
