I’m pretty comfortable with my weight, but I do want to tone up, not just for my wedding, but in general.
I’ve been doing all sorts of exersizes and I’m seeing results everywhere else … EXCEPT my belly! I’m doing crunches but I swear it’s getting FLABBIER! WTH!?
I’m really frustrated because I feel thinner/more toned pretty much everywhere else except my belly (sides/lovehandles are even gone)! And even when I was at my heaviest, I never had belly flab!
Grrrrrr what is going on?? Any tips that won’t kill me? I don’t want to look like Lalai Ali or anything but … ya know.

Belly flab has a lot to do with your food consumption. Try cutting back on carbs and sugars and you should see the six pack in no time!

Im trying to do the same thing. I need to cut down on bread and my portions. I dont now what else to do though. Great thread!

This is going to sound silly but I swear by eating at least 1 serving of yogurt a day. I have an Avtivia every morning… and come to think of it, maybe it’s just because I’ve nixed the carb-y cereal in favor of yogurt but I rarely get a food-baby now 🙂

try reading a book called wheat belly. they also have a blog at wheat belly blog .com. I struggle with the EXACT same problem. i just started eliminating wheat from my diet in March. I am hoping to see results as what is on the blog. I also somewhat enjoy doing a kettlebell workout and something called POP pilates (i just find video’s on youtube) for abs.
Good luck. but remember the inches didnt come on overnight, so they wont dissapear overnight. You’re striving for progress not perfection. Dont give up.

Ahh I’m so glad to see someone recommend wheat belly. I lost 20 pounds in like 2 months without working out and it was mostly my belly. Such a good book
