Can you pop a sock or two under your breasts to add a bit of volume? The dress suits you just perfectly. It’s stunning 🙂

londongirl1988 :  Could it be the way you’re standing? You know how we naturally throw our shoulders forward when we turn around to view the back of our outfit? Front on, you seem to be standing with your shoulders back.

Yes this needs an alteration, IMO. Definitely have the seamstress address this. That should not be happening regardless of your posture.

I see what you mean, but it should be an easy fix. All the seamstress has to do is shorten the straps. That will pull the bodice closer to your body and make it lie flat against your skin.

Your dress is stunning! May I ask who makes it??

I agree that the seamstress should be able to fix that gaping. It should lay flat at all times, I believe…

That sort of gapping is common with strapless dresses from the side view, but since your dress has straps, your seamstress should be able to tighten them so that it pulls the cups up against your chest. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

Any chance you can see her before Friday? That’s totally fixable, but if you wait until Friday and board a plane right after, when will she have a chance to fix it? If it was me, I’d go back to see her ASAP.

I have this problem with my strapless

The seamstress is fixing it by stitching a dart under each cup. It’s non invasive and doesn’t require taking the dress apart .

Good luck!

Seems like an easy fix any skilled seamstress can do. You have time to get it sorted.

Defintely get your straps done! I recently had mine done on my dress and it make a world of difference with how the dress was sitting.

londongirl1988 :  walmart has bra inserts that look oike silicone implants that are supposed to mould to your boob and look realistic (under a bra and clothing obviously)

londongirl1988 :  hi bee! I have the same issue with my dress because I have a small bust and we added cups.  but the difference is that mine is a sweetheart neckline with draped off-the-shoulder straps (basically strapless, those straps are more for looks).  Mine can’t be tightened because then I wouldn’t be able to move my arms, but yours should for sure be able to be pulled in tighter with the kind of straps you have!
