I am getting my hair cut for the first time in 2+ years and I’m really unsure of what to do. I’m horrible when it comes to this. Here are 2 pictures of me:
Right now my hair is longer than the 2nd picture. Here are the inspiration photos I was thinking of having done. Do you think it would look good on me/face shape or would something look better? Ignore the colors in the inspiration photos. I am keeping my dark brown color. My hair is also baby fine if that makes a difference and I like very low maintenance. (if you have a different style in mind post a pic please!)

All those Pinterest haircuts are cute! If you have fine hair (as do I), I’d stick with longer layers rather than choppier ones. Emma Stone’s or Candace Cameron. I find my hair looks thicker with more blunt angles then lot’s of short layers.

@FutureMrsMeinhardt: if you are afraid of your hair looking thin have your stylist cut layers obky in the crown area like onlt as far diwn as your fingers reach when you palm your head (pinky and thumb) this will help keep the bulk ay the bottom but give you the effect of layers. also face framing lays, dont let them skip that. wuth your face shape you can get away with them starting at your cheek bones or just under your chin.

I think they all look the same except for length. they’re all very cute! so I’d suggest going for the longer version and if you don’t like it, then go shorter.
if you are going with low maintenance, then remember that longer = more variety of updos that you can choose when you don’t feel like styling.

I think shortish bangs would suit you.

@FutureMrsMeinhardt: I like the first Emma Stone, the last Candace Cameron, and the last Carrie Underwood. I think long layers will help your hair look thicker (as another PP pointed out), and the longer, subtle side fringe adds an interesting detail to the haircut.
I would stay away from the awkward choppy layers featured in many of the other photos on your Pinterest (they look very Noughties).
Did I mention that your are beautiful with a lovely smile? 😀
